Writing thesis in international human rights law.
Participated in the German and the International Rounds of the Jessup in 2016, coached a team in 2017 and have since then been a judge in the European Friendlies as well as the International Rounds. Received the Inaugural Best Judge Award at the European Friendlies in 2019.

Participated in the Jessup as team member of the University of Tübingen in 1997/1998. Between 2000 and 2004, served as coach and Faculty advisor of the Jessup teams of that University. Since 2007, repeatedly acted as Judge at the German rounds as well as at the Italian and international rounds.

Participated as a student in 1999 and National Administrator in 2000.

Research and teaching focus is International Humanitarian Law and Public International Law.

He specialises in dispute resolution, litigation, and arbitration and assists companies, governments, and individuals in navigating complex disputes. He acts both as counsel and as arbitrator in international commercial and investment treaty arbitrations (including ICC, PCA/UNCITRAL, ICSID, SCC, DIS, KCAB, CEPANI, CEAC, GMAA and ad hoc).

Responsible for the Jessup Moot Court Team of the University of Münster since 2015.





Has coached teams for Berlin Free University in the early 2000s, changed sides in 2007 and has served as judge in the German National Rounds since then almost every year. Has been the host of the GNS in Kiel in 2008.

Solicitor (England & Wales) . Participated in Jessup 1985/86 and coached later.

Participated as a team member in the Jessup Competition 1995, has acted as a coach for the team of Indiana University School of Law in the Jessup Competition 1998 and has judged the Jessup before.

Involved with the Jessup for over ten years as competitor (2011), coach (2012-2017), national administrator (2018) and judge (since 2017).






Judge of the Russian Federation national finals of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in 2016.

Member of the first team from the Hertie School to participate in the Jessup in 2015. That experience was a key factor in her decision to become a barrister (trial lawyer in the UK). She was involved as a coach in 2016 and as an advocacy coach in subsequent years.
